Looking for a Specific Type of Pump?

Since the company’s inception in 1972, SEEPEX has been a leading worldwide specialist in pump technology. They were founded in Kirchhellen, Germany and have grown internationally over the years to include subsidiaries, warehouses and branch offices in more than 60 countries across the globe.

Their progressive cavity pumps, macerators and control systems are used in a wide variety of applications, including the food and beverage industry, environmental engineering, potable water distribution, renewable energies, the pulp and paper industry, oil, gas and petrochemicals, and other industrial markets. Wherever low to highly viscous, aggressive or abrasive media (such as acids and alkaline) must be conveyed at low pulsation rates, SEEPEX solutions are there to keep everything flowing. They can handle low to high solids concentration, whether the media is safe or hazardous.

All Things Flow and Change

SEEPEX’s core philosophy is built on the understanding that “All Things Flow” and change is inevitable. This is what keeps them inspired to remain thought leaders in the pump industry, leading change and growth when it comes to technology, service and solutions. They believe that even a great company can continue to grow more each and every day, so innovation is always at the heart of everything they do.

The leading-edge approach at SEEPEX goes beyond just manufacturing and distributing great pumps and systems. Consulting is perhaps the most important aspect of their service commitment. They see consulting as more than just recommending a pump for you to purchase. They look for specific and innovative solutions that help get their customers ahead in their specific industries. SEEPEX specializes in modular systems with varying designs and material combinations. This allows for customization for almost every application, with technical and economical solutions to meet your unique requirements.

Service and Consultation

As progressive cavity pump experts, SEEPEX manufactures high-quality products and continually develops new solutions. They are familiar with all branches of industry and can offer customers more than 40 years of consulting experience. They are committed to finding the optimal technical and economical solution—whether it’s a standard pump or a custom-made solution. SEEPEX does not settle for anything less than complete customer satisfaction. That is what their approach to service is all about.

The key to developing previously unheard-of solutions lies in working closely with customers and truly understanding their pump needs. This enables the consultants at SEEPEX to develop solutions that optimize their clients’ systems, boost their productivity and lower their operating costs.

SEEPEX provides in-depth advice to customers and then deliver these customized solutions tailored to meet their specific requirements, industry and conveying products. At SEEPEX, success boils down to four core principles:

Quality: We deliver superior technology. Our products meet the highest requirements for reliability and durability.

Service: Our customers are entitled to excellent service. That’s why we are continuously expanding our service portfolio.

Innovation: Our success is the result of constant innovation. This helps us maintain our leading position in technology, service and customization.

Responsibility: We have a responsibility to our customers, staff and the environment, which defines all of our ideas and actions.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

SEEPEX develops and produces progressive cavity pumps, macerators and control systems. Their modular system consists of 8 product groups and 27 ranges, allowing them to provide customers with tailor-made pumps for any application.

Only the highest quality materials are used in SEEPEX pumps. Wetted casing components are offered in gray cast iron, stainless steel, Halar- and Rislan-coated gray cast iron and RCH 1000. Rotating parts are supplied in hardened tool steel, various stainless steels and high-performance steels such as Hastelloy and titanium.

SEEPEX stators are available in a range of light and dark elastomer qualities such as NBR, EPDM, SI, HNBR and FPM to TFE/P—or in non-elastic materials like PTFE. Additional special materials are available in all areas.

SEEPEX progressive cavity pumps are self-priming rotary displacement pumps. They can be used at temperatures from -20 degrees C to 150 degrees C and can handle a wide range of conveying capacity and pressure.

SCT: Smart Conveying Technology

These pumps are easy to maintain, dismantle and reassemble, which reduces maintenance time by up to 85%. Because less maintenance is needed, less downtime occurs and that leads to higher productivity. The SCT line’s integrated tensioning device extends the rotor and stator’s life by up to 200%.

N: Standard Pump

The standard pump line can be utilized with numerous installation options. It features various rotor/stator geometries, including conventional, 6L and Tricam geometry. It has low pulsation and uniform flow, in addition to high self-priming capabilities—even with a mixture of liquid and air or gas up to a 9-meter water column.

T: Open Hopper Pump

This line features an open hopper and auger feed screw design, which results in easy maintenance. Joints and plug-in lines can be accessed quickly, and the open hopper and auger feed screw are adjustable for each processing task.

D: Metering Pump

Its modular system allows for quick and easy conversion. It has low pulsation pumping, high-metering accuracy (deviation of +/-1%) and is easy to maintain thanks to the plug-in connection.

CS: Food Pump

Seepex’s food pumps are designed with safety in mind. The stator material and secondary seals are FDA approved. They are CIP (Cleaning in Place) with high-velocity flow in the suction casing and meet all US 3-A Sanitary Standards with EHEDG compliance. They are particularly simple to maintain due to easy-to-assemble joints along with the plug-in connection between the rotating unit and the drive.

E: Semi-Submersible Pump

These pumps have low pulsation and even flow. They are self-priming and can be used at variable submersible depths. The available NPSH value (Net Positive Suction Head) is increased.

W: Wobble Pump

The wobble pump features a rotating unit with only one joint, making it easy to maintain and economical because of such a simple pump design. The rotating unit with only one joint means the conveying elements can quickly be replaced. It also saves space via a short, compact design with a directly flange-mounted drive (block type).

M: Macerator

You can control your macerating with the variable output speeds and shear places with different-sized openings. These macerators are easy to maintain because of the simple replacement of the entire cutterhead assembly (cartridge). The maceration amount can be controlled for an optimal flow rate and output speed. Less energy will be consumed compared to alternative macerating technologies.

CO: Control Systems

SEEPEX’s control systems offer standardized control functions and electronics with network-capable designs. This allows for the development of customer-specific solutions and easy integrations with a customer’s existing DCS or SCADA system.

Original Parts

Life cycle costs are essential parameters of a pump’s quality and efficiency. This is what sets SEEPEX’s high-quality products from the average ones available on the market. Quality SEEPEX original parts ensure long-term, sustainable pump conditions and reduced associated downtime, energy use and maintenance costs.

Here are some features of SEEPEX original parts:

  • Superior performance due to precise engineering
  • Proven reliability
  • High part durability
  • Low abrasion

Rental and Trial Pumps

If you have reached your production capacity, faced a sudden pump failure or are considering an alternative pumping technology, you might look into SEEPEX rental and trial pumps. They can provide you with a temporary pump solution or let you try out one of their progressive cavity pumps. They’ll specifically adapt a pump to meet your production needs and arrange for a specific trial period. If you like it, you can purchase the pump. If not, they’ll take it back with no further obligation. It’s a great way to experience the advantages of SEEPEX without a complete commitment of time or money.
