Press Release announcement for Cortech at CWEA conference
Cortech Engineering to attend the California Water Environment Association Conference in San Diego, CA.
Yorba Linda, CA, 16 April 2015
Cortech Engineering, the premier distributor of pumps and process equipment in Southern California, Central California, and Southern Nevada, will attend the California Water Environment Association Annual Conference (CWEA), which will be held at the San Diego Town and Country Resort from April 28–May 1, 2015. Cortech invites all visitors and inquirers to visit them at Booths 419 and 421 on April 29–April 30.
At this year’s conference, called Crafting Water, “CWEA members from across the state [will] come together to share new ideas and lessons learned about resource recovery, collection systems, operations, instrumentation, regulatory affairs, pretreatment, engineering and more.” CWEA expects two thousand California clean-water leaders to show up for the conference, with more than one hundred technical sessions, four workshops, and five site tours.
Simon Watson of Brown and Caldwell and CWEA President for 2014-15 writes, “The theme of this year’s annual conference, Crafting Water, came from a lot of discussions about how the water sector has to craft new ways of providing reliable water supplies and recovering all the possible resources that result from treating sewage. The speed at which this is addressed has been increased by the worst drought California has experienced in decades. These types of challenges provide great opportunities to try new approaches that in years when water was abundant would have not even been considered. To support these opportunities the CWEA 2015 annual conference will provide a forum to gain education, share thoughts, and discuss new approaches with wastewater and water professionals, utility leaders, and regulators.”
Cortech’s presence at the conference will enable it to better offer the pump products and solutions that it is known for in Southern California.
