Blackmer Reciprocating Gas Compressors
Blackmer reciprocating gas compressors are single-stage compressors that create a low-pressure area in the pumping chamber. This occurs when the piston reaches the highest point of the stroke and then travels to the lowest point. A higher-pressure gaseous product is then able to move into the pumping chamber and displace the same volume of gas when the piston reaches the top of the stroke. These compressors have been built to be extremely reliable and provide maximum performance in even the severest of conditions. They can withstand extreme conditions because the pumps come equipped with self-adjusting piston rod seals, ductile iron pistons, high efficiency valves, and other robust features. Reciprocating gas compressors are an instrumental component in the way oil and gas vapor recovery units (VRUs) are designed.
Blackmer reciprocating gas compressors are available in multiple models and specifications to meet all of our customers application needs. The range allows for maximum output pressures, temperatures, and RPMs. All product information can be found online in the pump model’s digital handbook for easy access to answers to any questions you may have about your pump. Cortech customer service is also available to assist in any way needed.
Cortech has been distributing quality pumps and process equipment to Central California, Southern California, and Southern Nevada since 1987 while providing excellent customer service and knowledgeable support for their products.
